M•CON Underground is proud to announce the successful completion of the Summit Truck Bodies facility site work. This large-scale earthwork project involved hauling in approximately 110,000 yards of imported LVC material in roughly 40 days — delivering the building pad a full month ahead of deadline and the surrounding parking lot two months ahead of the projected schedule. The scope included full utility installation, 30,000 tons of rock for the 229,100 square foot facility and surrounding parking area, 20,000 CY of topsoil placement, and 200,000 square feet of hydroseeding. Each phase was executed with precision, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
This project stands as a testament to the strength, expertise, and dedication of the M•CON Underground team. Working in close partnership with Summit Truck Bodies, we’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a commercial development of this scale. From planning to execution, the work demanded both technical skill and a strong collaborative effort — and the result speaks for itself.
Project Highlights
Accelerated Earthwork & LVC Import: The Summit Truck Bodies project required hauling in 110,000 yards of imported LVC material in approximately 40 days — a demanding pace executed safely and efficiently by M•CON’s experienced equipment operators and project management team. The building pad was delivered a full month ahead of deadline, and the parking lot was completed two months early.
Full Utility Package: The project included a complete underground utility scope — 600 LF of 6″ C900 and 200 LF of 2″ C900 water line, 2,000 LF of 18″ to 30″ HDPE storm sewer, and 520 LF of 8″ SDR26 sanitary sewer — all installed to spec and coordinated seamlessly with the earthwork schedule.
Rock, Topsoil & Hydroseeding: To complete the site build-out, 30,000 tons of rock were installed across the 229,100 square foot building footprint and surrounding parking area. Final grading included 20,000 CY of topsoil placement and 200,000 square feet of hydroseeding to deliver a finished, stabilized site.
Our team showed up every day ready to work and ready to win. The pace on this project was relentless — but so was our crew. Delivering a building pad a month early and a parking lot two months early doesn’t happen by accident. It takes skilled operators, solid project management, and a team that takes pride in what they do. We’re incredibly proud of everyone who made Summit possible.
